Program Availability for OPEX Control and SLA Compliance

Addressing operational expense control (OPEX), network stability, and service level agreement (SLA) compliance for video is a challenging business. The good news is that in March 2010, the US SCTE released three recommended practices (SCTE 168-4, 168-6, 168-7), providing the first industry-recommended practices for video delivery to address the challenges of rapidly isolating video delivery faults, while managing operational expenditure (OPEX) and complying to, or requesting compliance to, service level agreements (SLA) for video.
