OverviewApplications & FeaturesiVMS Supported Probes

iVMS™ from IneoQuest Technologies is a new Video Management System that provides a never before, real-time, look into the health of the entire Video distribution network. From Headend to Customer Premise this Video Management System detects customer impacting events, sends alerts, and rapidly isolates faults while providing the correct tools for remote troubleshooting.

Real-Time Monitoring

The Real-Time Monitoring of the iVMS allows a user to track the health of all video programs throughout the entire network. With geographic and logical views of network topology in a real-time updating display, iVMS quickly indicates the source and magnitude of a problem allowing for accurate dispatching of resources to the exact point of the issue. The familiar Census view, providing real time measurements and statistics, allows for comfortable and easy transition between tools.

Performance Reports & Trending

Historical Trending and Performance Reporting enable operators and managers to track network problems to resolution. Analysis of trending data from multiple probes across the network over multiple days can help narrow the cause of a problem and determine the customer impact. iVMS uses a modular database and stores performance and alarm data. PDF reports keep operators and management up to date on network performance.

Security

User management and audit logs control and manage different levels of access to the iVMS system. The system can direct users to exactly the tools they need based on the user privileges assigned.

Remote Troubleshooting

Direct Access to a suite of powerful troubleshooting tools enables engineers and technicians to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve the source of issues quickly and accurately. Applications such as IQMediaAnalyzer Pro™ and IQTSx Pro™ allow for a logical top down approach to troubleshooting the finest details. iVMS holds the key to accessing the correct tool to efficiently pinpoint and solve issues in the video network.

Northbound Services

iVMS communicates composite video monitoring messages, detailed video event messages, and system/probe health messages to your NMS or OSS. iVMS integrates smoothly via SNMP. E-mail notifications and alerts reinforce the real-time display of faults on the network.

Configuration Management

Use iVMS to centrally manage firmware and configuration files of probes throughout the network. Easily manage alarm thresholds for Alarming on real customer impacting events. Oversee and control inventory of probes in the network from a single central point.
