Real-time Analysis, Logging and Reporting of IPTV Control Plane Commands
IQDialogue® IPTV is a video monitoring probe that provides real-time analysis into the control protocols that enable the delivery of video-on-demand (VOD) services.
This monitoring solution taps directly into the video control flows and provides analysis of all the VOD transactions and network signaling. A single probe provides efficient end-to-end network monitoring, and when faults occur, it analyzes transactions with subscriber-level granularity to trace the VOD control flows including unicast and multicast connections, session request and establishment, user command sequences and session release.
Additionally, the IQDialogue IPTV system has an integrated SNMP northbound interface with comprehensive statistics and trend reports. For NOC operators, an optional iDMS management system provides consolidated analysis for multiple probes in real-time. For network planners, IQDialogue Reporting and Analytics is a supplementary tool that provides historical performance analysis of the network and powerful reporting of trends.

- Support for Solaris (X86) and Linux (RedHat) based Operating Systems
End-to-End Analysis of VOD Transactions
IQDialogue IPTV monitors, alarms and logs all setup, streaming and transport protocols required for VOD delivery on IPTV networks. The control panel allows for faults-only views and faults capture.
IQDialogue IPTV decodes and validates RTSP and LSCP streaming protocols that enable user commands or "trick plays", the SSP session setup protocol, and the internet transport protocols such as IGMP, ICMP and DHCP.
ICMP, IGMP and DHCP – Internet Messaging Protocols
Analysis of internet protocols used for unicast and multicast delivery and verification of host DHCP performance to ensure end-to-end analysis of VOD signaling.
RTSP - Streaming Protocol Support
Decoding, validation and logging of RTSP streaming protocol that enable viewer commands or (trick plays). Each set of streaming transactions can also be traced to its particular session.
Download and Playback of Capture Files
The operator can capture network traffic manually, or using triggered capture of faults provided by the probe, then, playback these captures for detailed inspection of intermittent faults and other problems.
Integrated Northbound Interface for Trend Analysis
Statistics of traffic volumes, success rates and faults for short or long term trend analysis from 15 minutes to 7 days. Storage, sorting and reporting of sessions by time, session ID, alarm type, asset ID, etc.
