Video test system specialist IneoQuest Technologies Inc. has extended its existing capabilities into the emerging switched digital video (SDV) sector by introducing a PC-based application that helps operators emulate and monitor SDV services.

With this tool, cable technicians can identify the various SDV protocols in a comprehensive and familiar Web-based format and get detailed information about the SDV service delivery platform. This enables them quickly identify, and respond to, faults in service delivery.
