IQWatchOverview
IQWatch is a subscription-based, remote IT management service, delivering real-time monitoring, notification and web-based reporting for IPTV-IP Video networks. IQWatch uses IneoQuest hardware probes strategically deployed in a Service Provider’s network to monitor hundreds of live IPTV-IP Video traffic flows simultaneously in real-time. Service Providers use IQWatch to determine the quality of the transport of video services from the headend across the network to the customer premise. IQWatch allows Service Providers to better manage their video networks by reducing operational costs through a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
IQWatch Reports IQWatch provides a daily report that sums together IPTV-IP Video performance over the past 24 hours. Customers receive this report each day to show the health of the network. IQWatch also provides Web-based reports on historical and live IPTV-IP Video quality events such as outages, loss patterns, per node and per program trending. IQWatch delivers both a management view of the entire infrastructure and detailed per node views on specific locations or time interval.
Notification IQWatch will send email notification of all severe outage events that customers can align with their own service level objectives. IQWatch will also send a daily report via email, that will sum up the global health of all traffic quality for each IneoQuest unit in the network.
Connectivity IQWatch connects to the IneoQuest hardware probes over the customers network either a point-to-point connection or via the internet. IQWatch uses SNMP and HTTP to communicate between IneoQuest management systems and the IneoQuest hardware probes.
