Overview

Cricket™ ASI is a powerful cost effective ASI Video quality and service assurance monitoring and troubleshooting probe for operators that need to monitor, analyze and debug video headend transport Quality. ASI-Cricket is perfect for validating ASI feeds and payload by providing continuous monitoring of all MPEG Transport Stream.

Integrating with the IneoQuest iVMS™ Video Quality Management System correlates information from all IneoQuest probes in the network with all ongoing measurements that ASI-Cricket is logging, and notifies the network operations center (NOC) of any problems. Alerted to a specific headend fault at a specific service group, the service provider can be proactive in correcting the situation, potentially leading to reduced call center traffic volume.

ASI-Cricket - Completes Headend Monitoring and Analysis

ASI-Cricket features an ASI interface for debug and analysis of SPTS or MPTS. In addition, the ASI-Cricket provides pull MPEG monitoring, analysis and capture capabilities. The 10/100 Fast Ethernet management connection allows an IP communication path to IQMediaAnalyzerPro, the web configuration interface and the IneoQuest iVMS Video Management System for seamless monitoring from the headend to home. Combined with the iVMS, ASI-Cricket in addition to the rest of the IneoQuest portfolio provides the most advanced IPTV Quality and Service Assurance solution available.
