Celebrating 10 Years of Innovation and Leadership

This year IneoQuest celebrates 10 years of innovation in video quality assurance technology. Ten years ago, we made a bet that video would be the king of the telecommunications industry. While telephone communications would remain important, it would be overtaken by video as the core of the industry. We bet that video would not be limited to broadcast feeds to a house alone, but rather would expand to large amounts of video multimedia files transferred across vast networks. And, of course, we bet that the complexities of the delivery of video over networks would present challenges for quality control that would require tools and expertise beyond traditional network monitoring capabilities.

Turns out we were right.

These 10 years have seen unbelievable change in the video space: When we started, most people owned a tube TV set and got their video through over the air broadcast (remember those rabbit ears?). Since then, the FCC has mandated the switch to digital video, HD technology is commonplace, and video is the king of the internet. The cell phone revolution that began by focusing on mobile voice communications now plays a key role in the video space as consumers can now stream and watch video from almost anywhere.

Today, IneoQuest is recognized as the leader in the video quality assurance industry. We have over 500 customers across the globe; this includes 20 of the top 25 US service providers, and the top service providers of Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Frost & Sullivan attributes IneoQuest with a market share of 29.9% in the global video quality, making IneoQuest the market leader. Frost & Sullivan, MRG, and other analyst firms have recognized IneoQuest as the leader in technology and product innovation awards as well. IneoQuest is the video quality assurance thought leader and our products are infused with the same degree of expertise and cutting edge technologies that has led us to a 421% 5-year growth rate.

The video industry is an exciting place in which to be working. We are all on the precipice of ubiquitous video. This does not mean that, for instance, mobile video will replace traditional TV or that internet and Over-the-Top (OTT) video will replace cable or satellite television. In fact, we are not even close to a saturation point for video consumption. Today's video consumer wants more and more video: sitting and watching the football game on the home TV will be complemented by mobile video of a favorite TV show and a paid subscription service accessed on a PC or gaming device. Consumers are hungry for more video altogether and there is no end in sight.

IneoQuest has a great team of hard-working, dedicated employees who make all this possible, but we could not have accomplished this on our own. Most importantly, we have made strong partnerships with our customers and a special thanks to them is warranted. It has been a pleasure to do business with you for 10 years and we are looking forward to extending and expanding these partnerships in the coming years.

These are exciting times for any company involved in video and we are proud of what IneoQuest has been able to accomplish in these past 10 years in terms of leadership, innovation, and partnerships.

Here's to 10 more years!
