IQMediaMonitor™

The IQMediaMonitor™ is a cost-effective, real-time IPTV/IP Video network test and monitoring probe that is ideal for assuring the quality of video over IP program flows. Based on powerful FPGA technology, the IQMediaMonitor provides a complete solution for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting any IPTV/IP Video network. The included software applications are simple to use and allow detailed inspection of all video flows across multiple IQMediaMonitor units. Critical parameters such as MDI, bit-rates, network utilization, IP jitter and loss, and PID loss on MPEG-2, H.264/MPEG-4 part 10, MPEG-4 part 2, DCII, H.264/AVC, and WM9/VC1 are detected and logged automatically on all streams. IQMediaMonitor hardware and application software together feature several higher level functions, including user permission login, remote logging, ASI playout, and IQ Remote Video Link for remote viewing of video programming from anywhere in the network.

The IQMediaMonitor simultaneously and continuously monitors and analyzes multiple live (SPTS, MPTS, etc.) IP video flows with deep packet analysis of PIDs, PCRs, etc. for remote troubleshooting and lab testing. Backhaul monitoring is standard with IneoQuest RVL™ technology which allows any IP flow to be copied, re-mapped, and re-transmitted out via the IQMediaMonitor RVL port to any other device on the network. Send to a PC for remote real-time program viewing or to a set-top box in an engineering lab for viewing under actual subscriber conditions. No more guessing regarding the quality that your customers are experiencing, you can accurately measure it with the IQMediaMonitor. With IQMediaAnalyzer Pro™ software, the IQMediaMonitor can perform many other tasks like event triggering and capturing up to 80 MB of live video, playing live video remotely via the IQtv™ feature, logging events and trending of IP flow and MPEG statistics, and much more. The IQMediaMonitor is supported by IneoQuest’s iVMS™ Video Management System, IQMediaAnalyzer™ Pro Software, HTML interface, and TcL scripting language.
